About Us
Hi, My name is Lisa Alexandropoulos and I am the owner of Seacoast Memorials. I would like to give you a little bit of history about my business and how I came about doing this particular job.

In 1990, my mother died of cancer and my father and I went to the local monument shop in our hometown to purchase a monument. I became friends with the owner as we were working together on designing my mothers monument and I took an interest in the whole concept of how a monument is made and next thing I knew I was asked if I would like to apprenticeship and learn how to build a monument from start to finish. In my first year I learned how to do sandblasting, shaped carvings, sales, layout designs, and talking to grieving families. I am able to make a memorial from start to finish.
In 1997, I decided it was time to go out on my own and my good friend Steven Bigras of B&B Monumental Engravers of Barre Vermont made me an offer to open up a place of our own and I would be the manager and he would do all the work up in Barre Vermont and have it shipped down, that would leave me more time to spend with the families.
In 2000, I bought Seacoast Memorials from Steve and now it is family owned and run. In Sept. of 2001 we added a computer system that allows me to do a proof of your monument while you are here. I realized how much I missed doing the actual carving and sandblasting so we set up a sandblast shop to do all of our work down here. Every winter I head up to Barre Vermont to take classes so I can keep up to date on the new techniques that come out every year. If you have any questions or there is anything that we can do for you please contact us on our contact page.
